The most fantastic new winter-hardy waterlily of the 21st century is here! Ring of Fire sports bright orange-red flowers steadily all summer long with bright yellow centers for a stunning reverse bulls-eye-rich flower unlike anything you have ever seen.
Don't let the beauty of the Ring of Fire Waterlily intimidate you. This medium-water lily is surprisingly easy to grow, thriving in ponds without koi fish. It prefers shallow water and a wide pot with rich loam soil, making it a low-maintenance addition to your water garden.
During the growing season from April through early September, four fertilizer tablets pushed 4 inches into the soil around the rhizomes were used twice a month. We suggest the 1st and 15th, which are easy to remember, on all your waterlilies for the entirety of the growing and blooming season.
As your Ring of Fire Waterlily grows, you may need to divide it to prevent overcrowding. This is a simple process that can be done as needed, ensuring your waterlilies have enough space to flourish.
