Planting & Care Instructions

• Plant Size: Medium hardy waterlily

• Spread: ~3–4.5 feet across when established

• Suggested Container: Wide, shallow 16-inch+ aquatic fabric container, or plant directly on a shallow shelf in an earth-bottom pond

• Planting Depth (from soil to water surface): 8–24 inches (best flowering in the 8–14 inch range)

• Soil: Heavy loam topsoil (or PondGro Aquatic Loam Soil). Avoid bagged compost/peat/perlite, gravel, or stones (they float, rot, or suffocate the crown).

• Sunlight Needs: Full sun — at least 6+ hours of strong midday sun daily

• Water: Still or lightly circulating water; avoid splashing or fountains over the pads

Fertilizing Schedule

• Frequency: Every 4 weeks during the growing season (April–September)

• Rate: 4–5 Waterlily World Fertilizer Tablets per feeding

• Placement: Press tablets 3–4 inches into the soil around (not on) the rhizome crown

Note: Cranberry was designed to perform beautifully on a monthly fertilizer schedule. Keep to this schedule on the 1st and 15th of each month for consistent blooms and rich color.
