Or rubber or plastic animal troughs from somewhere like Tractor Supply Company or Rural King in your area. SAVE MONEY: To mix your own perfect aquatic soil take a very inexpensive bag of topsoil (never potting soil), mix together a 75%/25% ratio with pool filter sand which is pre-rinsed sand and wont cloud the water. The sand adds just enough heft to the soil matrix to prevent plants from floating and will keep the plants from blowing over if they are tall. Do be sure your pots are deep enough for the plant you are planting. Dampen mixture and mix well then plant your plants before lowering into the pond slowly!
