Lift tender bulbs after first frost and overwinter in cool, dry conditions indoors. Plants can grow quite tall, often to 6 feet. Protect from wind. Beautiful when planted in the landscape or grown in containers placed in the pond with up to 2 inches of water over the top of the pot. (When planting in the pond, use very large tubs or containers and weigh the container down with rocks in the bottom of the container to protect from strong wind!)
