Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri) also called Bacopa, has beautiful, round, green leaves of foliage on this delightful, flowering plant. Small, bluish-white flowers add beauty and interest when the plant is grown as an emergent plant. Moneywort looks great on the borders of ponds when used as an emergent plant-- as it helps to soften the rockery. Moneywort also adds texture and interest to the surface of the water when grown as an emergent plant. Moneywort can grow a lush carpet on the surface of the water. The emerald green color along with small blue flowers add to the beauty of this lively pond plant. Moneywort grows above and below the water so Moneywort can be submerged and used as an oxygenator in ponds and aquariums.

Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri) or Bacopa is a quickly growing pond plant that reproduces from stem cuttings. Plant in full sun to part shade. This plant should be planted in soil above or below the surface of the water, in small containers or fabric planters, roots must be submerged. Place the containers from depths of 1 inch up to 24 inches beneath the surface of the water. When placed in pots near the surface of the water, plants may form a mat across the surface of the water, being both submerged and emergent. Moneywort may be grown in the substrate in very shallow areas of your pond. Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri) is very easy to grow!
